Dove's Nest "Fill the Nest" Housewarming Shower

You can be a part of donating the necessary items to furnish and decorate the bedrooms, bathrooms, and staff rooms at the Dove's Nest new facility, a brand new building that will have 120 beds. We need your help to make this possible! Any donation or gift is appreciated and will continue to give back long after the grand opening this summer. Order online through the registries or come drop off your housewarming gifts May 20, 2012 and tour the new Nest! We'll be offering tours and light refreshments.

*All donations are tax deductible with a Charlotte Rescue Mission donation receipt. Dove's Nest will have the donation receipts at the building and can mail the donor a receipt.

You can help in many ways

1. Shop online at any of the 4 registries below and have housewarming presents sent to the Dove's Nest.

2. Shop in person and select items from the registries to bring to the housewarming party at the new location: 2855 West Boulevard on Sunday, May 20 from 11 AM – 3 PM.

3. Buy a gift card to Lowes, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target or Walmart and have it sent to 1814 Euclid Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28203.

4. Drop off new laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, or paper products (Kleenex, paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates, paper cups, etc.) to 1814 Euclid Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28203.

5. Donate any monetary amount or furnish an entire room for $1500 at Charlotte Rescue Mission by following the online instructions and selecting "FILL THE NEST" from the drop-down options.

The Dove's Nest is growing - be part of the solution to help homeless women break the cycle of addiction.

The Charlotte Rescue Mission is thrilled to expand the Dove's Nest from a 12 bed to a 120 bed facility. The new facility will serve 90 women & 30 children. Dove's Nest is Charlotte Rescue Mission's women's recovery program that provides a loving, highly-structured Christian environment to help women understand and deal with the core issues of their alcohol and/or drug addiction. The intense 120-day program focuses on spiritual, physical, social and psychological recovery. Dove's Nest offers more than a clean bed, clothing and nourishing food. Women learn how to live a life of sobriety and have a daily personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
